Just a five minute drive South of Boulder, this quaint little town sits below Eldorado Canyon and offers some of the finest rock climbing in the country with over 500 routes from easy to extreme levels. It also has a natural spring swimming pool that is very popular in the summer for it's refreshingly cool temperature and super fast water slide.
Once considered the Coney Island of the West, modern Eldorado Springs is very un-commercialized and this suits its residents just fine. Stunning Eldorado Canyon is the area's rock climbing mecca, but it's also a perfect place to hike, fish, or picnic along South Boulder Creek. Deer, mountain lions, foxes, black bears, golden eagles and seven species of bats call this protected natural haven their home as well.
