Nederland, Colorado is a picturesque mountain town 15 miles west of Boulder in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, next to a beautiful reservoir. Nederland offers some of the best outdoor recreation in Colorado; Eldora Ski Area is just minutes away, hiking trails abound, fishing, and both an Olympic-sized outdoor ice/tennis park and skateboard park are within walking distance. It's also home to a great mountain music scene. Come visit the shops and dine at the friendly cafes and restaurants or participate in Nedfest or Miner's Days. Come run in the Neder-Nederland or take a tour of the Mining Museum. Many people enjoy Nederland's closeness to Boulder, and most residents of Nederland feel like life is better up in the high country.
